Our team is supporting the localization, detailed engineering, and implementation of standardized cooling systems for deployment across multiple data halls.

Key scope includes:

  • Design verification and localization for Canadian codes, standards, and professional engineering requirements

  • Detailed engineering and analysis of modular cooling system assemblies

  • Development of fabrication-ready engineering work packages

  • Procurement and vendor support, including technical reviews and vendor document review

  • Fabrication and installation support for repeatable modular systems

  • Permitting and regulatory support through authenticated engineering packages

HYPERSCALE DATA CENTRE - POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS

Obsidian Engineering is supporting the design and implementation of interior power distribution systems serving data racks for a major hyperscale data centre development in Canada.

As Engineer of Record, Obsidian is helping translate standardized system designs into construction-ready solutions suited to Canadian requirements and large-scale modular deployment.

Key scope includes:

  • Design verification and authentication for Canadian codes and professional engineering requirements

  • Detailed multidisciplinary engineering for modular power distribution assemblies

  • Development of fabrication-ready work packages for systems deployed across multiple data halls

  • Procurement engineering support, including pre- and post-award technical activities
